Advantage portable chillers are designed to circulate a fluid medium (typically water, or a water-glycol solution) for process application cooling or for laboratory water bath temperature control, as in cement/concrete curing baths.  Portable chillers are typically used to supply cooling temperatures between -7C to 28C to a single process.

CDRs air cooled liquid chillers use ambient air to dissipate process heat. These units efficiently run in indoor ambient air temperatures between 14C to 46C (tropical design). They are in capacities from 0,25 to 30 tons (0,9 - 140 KW).

These chillers can be moved between process applications as required. Internal reservoirs and pumping systems are common to portable chillers.
