CDR EM. CHRYSSAGIS produces precision research plant growth chambers, designed for optimum performance and value in the most demanding applications since 1988. Today there are three basic chamber sizes at 500, 1000, & 1500 Ltr internal volume. They are available in various configurations.

All models may be equipped with barrier or non-barrier lamp canopies, with horizontal or vertical (both downward or upward) air flow, with or without dehumidification system and CO2 control. All models guaranteed to provide optimum uniformity throughout the growing area, even with a full plant load.

As standard, construction is all stainless steel with polyurethane foam insulation. Their <<tropical>> refrigeration system is designed to operate in ambient temperatures up to 46°C. Most models have a standard operating range of 4°C to 45°C ±0.5°C with lights off and 10°C to 45°C ±0.5°C when fully lit. Most models come with stable light fixtures and shelves that can be adjusted upwards or downwards. Two shelf models are also available for Arabidopsis research.

Depending on model and desired configuration, lighting levels range from 166 µmoles/m2/s to 1000 µmoles/m2/s (at 15cm from lamps). As standard they are equipped with high frequency cool white fluorescent lamps, in mixture with incandescent arrays simulating that of natural sunlight spectrum. To meet your unique needs we also provide a number of lighting solutions including HQI lamps, high pressure sodium lamps or any other spectral mixture lamps.
