GERMINATORS FOR LABORATORY & COMMERCIAL USE
The purpose of these seed germinators is to assess seed quality or viability and to
predict performance of the seed and seedling in the field. CDR’s SG-500 & 1000CMP are fully equipped, castor mounted models. Designed
as high precision research incubators, these units are not modified refrigerators.
DURABILITY - ACCURACY - RELIABILITY
SG-500
& 1000 interior and exterior walls feature a stainless steel (304) design. Overall wall thickness is 60mm (SG500/1000) with
environmentally friendly (CFC free) polyurethane insulation. Every chamber contains 4 caster assembly (2 with brakes). Door (s) opening
provides full access to the chamber interior. A magnetic gasket provides a tight seal to door frame. A second internal glass door
provides observation window without disturbing the internal atmosphere.

Shelving fifteen (SG-500) or thirty (SG-1000) tiers of white epoxy coated aluminum shelving. Each shelf is 68.6 cm x 63.8 cm). Shelves
are slide-able on aluminum rail assemblies. The clearance between shelves is 60mm.
CDR's “CMP” control system is a PLC base PID programmable
system, with color LCD touch screen, capable of programming with high accuracy temperature, humidity, light intensity & light
photoperiod with up to 24 steps.
LIGHTING
Standard lighting on every chamber includes fluorescent light fixtures mounted vertically
on the sides of the cabinets The economical unit is equipped with fluorescent lamps mounted on the door with dual pane sealed
glass barrier. Light intensity and photoperiod is computer controlled (CMP models) or with analog timer and manual switches (DG models).
