CDR E. CHRYSSAGIS provide a range of Standard Growth Rooms, or alternatively can design and build them to suit the customer’s requirements or dimensions. Rooms can be built to blend with architectural features of new or existing facilities. They can have benches with electrical elevated light barriers for adjusting them to the plants height. Alternatively we build multilevel shelving (stable or vertically adjustable) that provide maximum growth space while occupying the smallest footprint possible and other furnishings available to enhance utilization.

More options in lighting are provided according to the desired spectral output. We can utilise fluorescent lamps with analog or high frequency electronic ballasts, mixture of fluorescent with incandescent lamps, metal halide or high pressure sodium lamps. Lighting system can be inside the working room with special canopies or separated from the growing areas by a

Transparent-screen. The latest is an option to reduce heating load in the room, thus minimizing the effects on plant materials. In addition it enables easy cleaning and servicing, ensures constant light output by maintaining lamps at their maximum operating temperature and provides added safety against accidental lamp breakage or electric shock. Light intensity is programmable to the highest level, giving good dawn to dusk simulation.

All models feature high/low temperature limits protection and self-diagnostic system with audio and display alarm.

A sealed, energy-efficient CFC-free refrigeration system incorporates a unique hot-gas control allowing continuous operation and automatic defrosting, with all functions under microprocessor control.
